Victor Elementary School

Victor, Idaho

Following an existing facilities condition study, a capacity analysis, and a needs assessment, our team helped pass a bond with over 80% voter approval — the highest rate of any Idaho school bond to date. One of the resulting projects included this 45,000 square foot elementary school for students in kindergarten through third grade.

The basic concept includes two classroom wings that span an outdoor classroom area in between. Utilizing a palette of natural stone, geometric metal elements, and tranquil colors for finishes, the school offers a blank canvas for students and educators to create, learn, and thrive. Bountiful natural light, an intuitive layout, and dynamic open spaces are welcoming to students, staff, and administrators alike.

“The tools they use to accomplish a facility evaluation is as impressive as their ability to facilitate a meeting with a large group and gain consensus with varying opinions. They have engaged our entire staff with their meetings and design charette’s and have been able to produce designs that incorporate the ideas and visions of a wide variety of opinions while working within budgets. The results have been extremely well received in our community.”
