Driggs Elementary School

Driggs, Idaho

Our team helped to prepare needs assessments and capacity studies for the existing facilities within Teton School District 401 in Teton County, Idaho, for master planning purposes. Subsequently, based on the clearly identified needs, we initiated preliminary planning efforts and cost estimates for each facility. Thanks to this thorough work, and solid preparation, the School District passed a bond with 80% voter approval — the highest rate of any Idaho school bond to date.

The design includes a 50,000 square-foot elementary school for grades K-3. The space seeks to invite learning and exploration, as well as provide for efficiency and safety. Balancing the needs of young children and adult staff, the building enjoys an effortless flow, ample natural light, and an energetic atmosphere.

“Perhaps the strongest asset that GPCA brings to a project is total focus on the client. Any issue, communication, meeting or question was always addressed in a timely and professional manner. I have truly valued the close working relationship we have with the GPCA team and know that their staff will complete the work with high quality, expediency and professionalism.”

- Monte Woolstenhulme, Superintendent, Teton School District 401
