US Bank, Jackson

Jackson, Wyoming

Drawing on inspiration from the construction of their landmark office in Driggs, Idaho, the First Bank of the Tetons sought to continue with common design elements in their second building in Jackson, Wyoming. In a nod to the agricultural theme featured in the Idaho building, the design was modified to embrace the curved, galvanized metal of the silo in a horizontal manner, creating an atrium roof. The bowstring form was repeated multiple times in second story dormers. A colonnade and wrap-around porch offers sun protection for the main floor and keeps entrance ways clear of snow in the winter.
